Shadrack F. Ringo

Is an advocate of the high court of Tanzania and currently lectures on corporate finance law at the University of Dar es Salaam Business School. He has been a senior lecturer in commercial laws (UDSM), principal legal officer (PSRC), chief legal counsel (Africa Export-Import Bank -Cairo) and director general of the Fair Competition Commission. He has practices as a private practitioner for over 30 years. His main practice interests are exclusively in the area of corporate commercial laws in general and in particular, the negotiation of structured trade and project finance transactions, mergers & acquisitions, insolvency, competition, energy (oil & gas), mining & construction contracts as well as litigation (administrative tribunals and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, commercial and tax) and the law of trusts. He holds a doctorate degree (Konstanz University Germany), a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (IFM) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Finance (UK) He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators and is also a member and resource person for the Tanzania Institute of Directors. He has sat on several boards of public and private enterprises.
